The Prize

There are two prizes. One for UK entries, and the other for international entries.

UK PRIZE:

The UK winner will receive a bundle of goodies which consist of:

  • An ocean theme book sleeve to keep your paperbacks/eReader safer in your bag.
  • A reading journal, to keep track of your reading goals & thoughts on your reads
  • A mermaid fountain pen, so you can write in your journal in style

INTERNATIONAL PRIZE:

General Competition Terms & Conditions:

By entering this competition entrants accept these terms and conditions together with any specific instructions and terms for such competition.

The competition is open to all. However, UK residents will be eligible for the UK prize. All other entrants will be eligible for the International prize. By UK, I mean the United Kingdom, i.e. England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. For the avoidance of doubt, Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man are not part of the United Kingdom for these purposes.

As this giveaway was created to thank Ocean Heart preorder customers, competition winners will be asked to provide proof of purchase within 7 days of the competition closing. Failure to do so, may result in no winner or the selection of another winner.

If you have not preordered Ocean Heart there is a another entry option. Instead of ordering Ocean Heart, please help spread the word about Ocean Heart (or this giveaway) to potential readers. When you fill in the form please indicate that you’ve not bought Ocean Heart and answer the book purchase questions based on your general preference. Instead of providing proof of purchase you will need to provide proof of promoting Ocean Heart. For example a link to:

  • Your ARC reader review of Ocean Heart
  • Your Book Blitz post about Ocean Heart/This giveaway
  • Your Blog post to spread the word about Ocean Heart
  • Any promotional post or image about Ocean Heart on any social media platform to potential readers created or shared by you

The opening and closing dates and times for entries are as indicated in the competition information. Any entries received outside of this period will be invalid.

The competition winner will be announced using the name given on the form. The winner will be announced during the Release Party Live Stream on 1 Dec, at 8pm GMT. You must submit your entry by this date and time. If due to unforeseen circumstances the Live does not take place, the winner will be announced as soon as possible on social media.

By entering the competition entrants warrant that all information submitted by them is true, current, and complete.

Entry to the competition may only be made through the Google Form as indicated in the competition information. Entrants should only enter once. Please answer all the questions in the form and follow the instructions to submit your entey. Entrants will be required to supply their name, email address and postal address.

Any entries which are incomplete, incorrect, inaudible, incomprehensible, or not received on time will be void. In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the correctness or acceptability of the entry or any answers given by entrants (if applicable), or the operation of any part of the competition (in the case of postal entries, a postal strike for example), the decision shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize is as specified in the competition information. There is no alternative.

The process for determining the winner of the prize will be random selection. The winner will be contacted by email and have 7 days to provide proof of purchase of Ocean Heart during the qualifying period. Once proof is received, the prize will be sent within 7 days. If this is not possible, the winner will be kept informed by email. This prize will be sent during a busy postal period.
